Maddie & Emily | An Intimate Hill-Physick House Wedding

Maddie & Emily planned the most perfect fall wedding in Philadelphia back in the fall. They decided to ditch many of the usual wedding traditions, and it was truly one of the best weddings Iโ€™ve ever had the pleasure of documenting.

Venue: Hill-Physick House in Old City, Philadelphia
Florals: Plaza Flowers
Cake: Frosted Fox Cake Shop
Hair & Makeup: Gloss Philly
Wedding Gowns: BHLDN | Anthropologie

Instead of getting ready separately, these two rented a room in Lokal Hotel in Old City and got ready together. They got ready amongst friends; snapping polaroids, drinking mimosas with breakfast, and enjoying the relaxed and fun vibe of the morning.

After exploring Old City and taking portraits there, we made our way to the venue. Hill-Physick house is the perfect setting for an intimate wedding, with an outside maximum capacity of 100 guests in their beautiful garden. The venue is LGBTQIA+ friendly, which was especially important for this day.

The rental fee is between $2,500-$4,000, and the ceremony fee around $2,500-$3,000 depending on the day, making it extremely affordable for couples.

After the beautiful ceremony, Maddie and Emily kicked their reception off. They shared family style meals with their guests, and danced the rest of the night away.

Wishing these two a lifetime of happiness together!
